The TPX6113 horizontal boring mill machine features a comprehensive range of functions, including drilling, enlarging, boring, reaming, milling, and thread cutting. Additionally, the front end of the horizontal milling and boring machine's spindle is equipped with a fixed facing head; this facing head features a sliding block capable of radial feed, thereby enabling the boring of large-diameter holes, external turning, face milling, grooving, and similar operations.
The horizontal boring mill machine consists of a bed, column, headstock, upper and lower saddles, worktable, auxiliary column, counterweight, and other components. The operational movements of the machine include the vertical travel of the headstock along the column guide rails, as well as the longitudinal, transverse, and rotary movements of the worktable along the bed.
Features
- Both the main drive and feed rate shifting are controlled via a centralized hydraulic pre-selection system, ensuring simple and convenient operation. During the speed-changing process, indicator lights within the control buttons provide visual feedback signals.
- The distribution of movements for all moving components-including the vertical travel of the headstock, the longitudinal and transverse travel of the worktable, and the worktable's rotation-as well as the clamping and unclamping of these components, are all managed through a hydraulic automatic interlocking system, resulting in a high degree of automation.
- The horizontal boring mill machine features digital readout (DRO) functions for the vertical position of the headstock and the transverse position of the worktable, thereby enhancing machining precision. Upon specific user request, a digital readout function for the longitudinal position of the worktable can also be provided.
- Key structural components of the horizontal milling and boring machine-specifically the bed, front column, and the guide rails on the lower saddle-have undergone electric-contact surface heating and self-cooling quenching treatment; this process imparts high hardness to the guide rails, significantly extending their service life.
- All horizontal guide rails on the machine are equipped with full-coverage telescopic plate guards for protection.
- An electro-hydraulic interlocking system is established between the machine's moving components; this ensures that only one component can be in motion at any given time, while all other components are automatically clamped (with the exceptions of the main spindle and the facing head's sliding block).
- The feed gearbox and rapid traverse gearbox are each equipped with a safety clutch mechanism, which acts as a safety safeguard in the event of machine overload.
