The X, Y, and Z axes are all equipped with heavy-preload roller linear guides, featuring high rigidity, low noise, and low friction characteristics; this enables rapid traverse speeds and ensures optimal circular interpolation accuracy. The Y-axis incorporates a dual-frame design that effectively enhances machining stability, and is paired with a hydraulic balancing system to prevent workpiece and tool damage caused by the Y-axis drifting downward in the event of a sudden power failure.
This high-rigidity rotary table of the horizontal CNC milling machine utilizes a dense-grain GC40 casting, making it ideally suited for homogeneous castings with a thin cross-section of 10–15 mm. The material features a dense microstructure, high strength, and a low coefficient of friction, in addition to possessing self-lubricating properties; consequently, following surface hardening treatment, it achieves a hardness of HRC 48–52. It is specifically designed for applications involving workpieces subject to thermal shock caused by mutual friction between metal surfaces. Furthermore, the unit incorporates a German-manufactured worm gear system, guaranteeing a positioning accuracy of within ±4 arc-seconds.
All three axes of the horizontal CNC milling machine are equipped with C3-grade precision ball screws featuring preloaded double nuts; coupled with a pre-tensioning design at the support mounts on both ends, this configuration effectively eliminates transmission backlash and preemptively compensates for errors caused by thermal expansion, thereby ensuring precise positioning accuracy.
