Application
This Large CNC Turning Lathe is a dual-coordinate, 2-axis CNC lathe with an integrated flat bed. This CNC lathe is capable of machining complex geometries, a wide range of sizes, and high-precision shaft (or disc) parts. It can machine cylindrical surfaces, conical surfaces, stepped surfaces, spherical surfaces, and various other rotating surfaces. Additionally, it can process both metric and imperial internal and external threads. Besides turning operations, it can also perform drilling, reaming, boring, rolling, and other machining processes.
Features
An one-piece cast monolithic bed with a mountain-shaped guide rail structure. The guideway surfaces are all made of wear-resistant cast iron and have undergone surface hardening. The surface hardness of the guideway is ≥HRC50, with a quenching depth of 2mm. The width of guideway is 910mm.
The main spindle uses an auto 4-speed transmission with stepless speed variation within each gear. It features high output torque, high positioning accuracy, and stable, reliable performance. All gears in the main drive are made of high-quality alloy carburized material and undergo carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding. The noise level of the spindle box during machine operation is ≤75dB.
The Large CNC Turning Lathe is equipped with an auto chip conveyor (2-set), with a chip discharge hole opened on the rear side of the bed, allowing chips to be discharged into the chip conveyor at the rear side of the machine. The cooling tank is separated from the main machine to ensure the machine's precision is not affected by cutting heat.
The chip conveyor is equipped with an oil skimmer device, which can effectively separate the lubricating oil from the coolant. The machine tool is equipped with one air gun and one water gun.
The Large CNC Turning Lathe is equipped with a through-spindle coolant system with a closed pressure of 15bar, used for cooling and chip flushing.
The X/Z-axis of the machine tool is equipped with a linear encoder from FAGOR (Spain). After a power outage and subsequent power restoration, it immediately provides position values and continuously supplies them for the electronic circuits to read, without the need to move the axis to perform a reference point homing operation.
